The sun-shone front end of an Audi A4.

Driving like no tomorrow is a waste. Start everyday thanking God and driving carefully with a luxurious automobile like an Audi A4. When you find your life uneasy with too much bills in the house, expenses of food and other things, why don’t you give a break to yourself? Feel at ease with Audi A4. There is al lot of Audi A4 for sale; used cars with affordable prices. So there’s no reason for you not to enjoy life riding and feeling life as it is to be.

The Audi A4 is a compact executive car produced by the German car manufacturer Audi AG since late 1994. The initial generation A4 succeeded the four previous generations of the Audi 80. And just like its Audi 80 predecessor, the Audi A4 automobile layout consists of a longitudinally oriented engine at the front, with transaxle-type transmissions mounted immediately to the rear of the engine, again, oriented longitudinally. Drive output is transmitted to either the front wheels, or on some models, utilizing Audi’s ‘trademark’ quattro permanent four-wheel drive system.

Since its inception, the Audi A4 has been available in four generations, based on the Volkswagen Group ‘B’ series of automobile platforms. Audi’s internal numbering convention therefore treats the A4 as a logical continuation of the Audi 80 lineage; hence the initial A4 was designated as the B5-series, followed by the subsequent B6 and B7, and the current B8.

Of the main body styles, it is (and always has been) available as a saloon/sedan variant, and an “Avant”, which is Audi’s name for an estate/wagon. The second (B6) and third generations (B7) of the A4 also had a Cabriolet version, but the Cabriolet was not retained for the current fourth generation (B8), Audi now having Cabriolet versions of the related Audi A5 and S5coupés — and also the smaller Audi A3.

Additionally, higher performance versions directly related to the A4 include the Audi S4, and the limited availability quattro GmbH-developed very high performance Audi RS4.

Used Audi a4 for sale model of year 2008:

2008 Audi A4 2.0T low mileage: Factory Certified=A4 2.0Ts suffer some turbo lag but are generally smooth and strong. In Consumer Guide testing, a manual-transmission 2.0T sedan did 6.8 sec 0-60 mph; test automatic Avant Quattro did 7.6. Test Cabrio with the 3.2 V6 is strong from any speed but suffers annoying non-linear power delivery. Front-drive A4s with CVT are lazy on takeoff. S4s are rapid; test manual-transmission Cabrio timed 5.6 sec 0-60. Audi claims just 4.6 sec for RS 4; it doesn’t feel quite that quick, but it is plenty fast.

2008 Audi A4 3.2L low mileage: Factory Certified=the 2008 body style, as will the 340-hp V8 high-performance S4 version of the Cabriolet. All body styles offer Audi’s quattro all-wheel drive. Some versions of the sedan and convertible are available with front-wheel drive. Sedans and Avants come in 2.0T trim and feature a turbocharged 211-hp 2.0-liter 4-cylinder engine. The 3.2 quattro is a sedan only. It has a 265-hp 3.2-liter V6. A continuously variable automatic transmission (CVT) is standard on front-wheel drive 2.0Ts. 2.0T quattro models are available with a 6-speed manual or 6-speed automatic transmission. 3.2 quattros are automatic only. Available safety features include ABS, traction control, antiskid system, front side airbags, rear side airbags, and curtain side airbags. Other available features include a navigation system; Audi’s MMI control for audio, climate, and other functions; a self-opening trunk lid; Audi Drive Select, which allows the driver to customize steering and suspension settings; blind-spot alert; keyless entry and starting; a wireless cell phone link; and a rearview camera.

The Audi A4 holds the distinction of single-handedly reviving the Audi brand after its big sales slump some two decades ago. Launched in the mid-’90s, the A4 quickly proved a favorite among luxury-car buyers thanks to its handsome, well-finished cabin, sharp handling and available Quattro all-wheel drive. Tight panel gaps, high-quality materials and firm, comfortable seating give the interior the proper European ambience, while a supple ride and willing performance make the Audi A4 a great road trip choice.
